The module is divided into two parts: an academic part and an experimental part. The academic part re-calls notions of interoperability, enterprise modelling and ontology definition and management, and the second part introduces:

• The notions of annotations and semantic annotations, their typology, their link to ontologies and to enterprise models and meta-models.
• The annotation process: definition and adoption of annotation schemes, types and purposes.
• The annotation environment(s) and their relationships to enterprise modelling and ontology management environments .

The experimental part concerns the application of the learned concepts and process using some selected environments (for enterprise modelling, ontology management, annotation provision and annotation management).
